The Chicago Rubber Group, Inc. is now taking applications for the 2010 Harold Stark Memorial Scholarship, and nominations for the 2010 Robert Kann Education Award. Entries for both awards are due on or before March 1st, 2010. Please note that Scholarship application forms WILL NOT be accepted without an ACT Test Score Report. You can have your test score report sent directly the the CRG when you take your test -- our Illinois ACT Test Score Report Code is 0990.

The Harold Stark Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually in the amount of $1,000 for 4 years to a high school graduate based on composite ACT test scores.

The Robert Kann Award in the amount of $1,000 is awarded annually to someone associated with the Rubber Industry to defray the cost of taking a course to further his or her knowledge of rubber or associated industry.

In addition to community and industry outreach by the CRG Education Committee and CRG Board, we depend on other CRG members and recipients of the newsletter to inform qualifying individuals of the opportunities offered by our group. If you know of anyone who would qualify for either of these awards, please nominate them, or help them out by providing them access to the application process.
